Text alerts (SMS)
GTransport LLC is a truck dispatch company. We text the owners of the trucking companies we dispatch for (our carriers) about their loads, paperwork and fees, only when they turn text alerts on.
How carriers opt in
- Texts are off by default. A carrier who has signed our dispatch agreement opens the GTransport app, goes to Alerts, and turns on Text for the alerts they want.
- Right under the switches the app shows the consent statement below. Turning on Text is the opt-in; we record the date, time and phone number.
- Consent to texts is not a condition of using GTransport, and we never buy or share phone numbers.
What the carrier sees in the app
By turning on Text, you agree to receive alert texts from GTransport at your phone number. Message frequency varies. Msg & data rates may apply. Reply STOP to opt out, HELP for help. Consent is not required to use GTransport.
Sample messages
- GTransport: New load offer Miami, FL → Atlanta, GA, $2,450, pickup Mon 8:00 AM. Open the app to answer. Reply STOP to opt out.
